WHAT IS MINERAL MAKEUP AND WHY SHOULD I BE USING IT?
The easiest way to explain mineral makeup is for you to imagine a pound of flour. Most powders are very heavy like flour.  Mineral powders have been sifted thousands, becoming crystallized allowing the powders to be finer and lighter. 

Mineral makeup is non-comedogenic, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, water resistant and very high in anti-oxidants allowing skin to be protected and breath at the same time. 

Mineral make-up contains SPF by using titanium Dioxide which reflects UV rays and Zinc Oxide that protects.  These products are very important in which they give the skin a weightless layer of a non-chemical SPF.

Most importantly, all of the mineral make ups we carry is that none of them contain talc or parabens.  Also the minerals we carry do have titanium dioxide and zinc oxide for SPF but they are not the main ingredients.

Mineral makeup has become so popular that most cosmetic lines just put “mineral” on the label when it truly is mostly titanium dioxide, Zinc oxide and talc.  These products are not harmful but when they are the first three ingredients in the product all you are getting is a pound of flour sifted once with a high dose of SPF.

JANE IREDALE MINERAL MAKEUP
This line is excellent for women who wants a natural, flawless look that will stay and last all day.  This line is also gives complete coverage for roseacha, post chemical peels, laser resurfacing, face lifts and burn victims.  Jane Iredale’s line uses proprietary technology to blend pigment and minerals to form microscopic flat crystals.  The crystals then carry over on top of one another forming a shield to protect the skin and allow it to breath.   These minerals are water resistant, non-comedogenic (will not clog pours), have an SPF of 18-20, and will not crease or smear.  This line includes foundation, concealers, pressed and loose powder, a variety of shades no matter the ethnicity and the most up to date colors for cheeks, eyes and lips.

MINERALOGY MAKEUP
This line accentuates natural beauty and helps illuminate the skin by reflecting light and decreasing fine lines and wrinkles.  Mineralogy has a large array of colors that match every skin tone. It has an SPF of 26 to protect from the sun as well as pollutants from the environment.  Mineralogy also uses natural antioxidants such as vitamins A&E to help the skin looking young and fresh.  This line make you feel like you have nothing on leaving the skin with a flawless look. This makeup is like vitamins for the skin enriched with Apple extract, phospholipids and super oxide radicals. These healthy, active ingredients also are blended into pigments for cheeks, eyes and lips. 

EMINENCE SUN DEFENCE
This line is derived from the earth loaded with vitamins, rich organic fruit extracts and herbs loaded with bioflavonoids that help your skin heal and become healthier with use.  Sun Defense is easy to apply and can be carried anywhere. Each color has its own smell and coverage with an SPF of 30.  Colors range from a translucent natural shade good for men and children, honey apple, cherries and berries, peaches and cream, calendula spice and a cinnamon bronzer great for darker shades or used for a bronzer or contouring.
